How to Teach Your Kids to Make Money

 

Nowadays it is very important to teach your kids how they can make money from their parents. This is one of the methods that I use to teach my kids how they can earn and save their earning. This system really works as you do not need to force them to do house chores as they willingly want to do it if there is money involved.

1.      How do I do it? Firstly, I make them understand how important it is to learn to work and make a living from your earning.

2.      Each time they need something, not clothes obviously but things like buying games on Roblox or other things that they chose to buy, they know there are certain things which are not important but they want it anyway.

3.    What they do is that they want to work for the money, because they know if they ask me to buy those things, I will tell them that they don’t need it, as it is not important.

4.    They will come to me and say, "Mummy, can I clean the table or can I vacuum the rooms?", sometimes if I see their clothes scattered in their room, I will ask them to go and keep their room tidy and they will happily do it and I will give them their money, and they will save it on their money box.

5.      Since they started using this method to make money, they were able to save something between £20 or £30.

Try this method with your children, they will like it especially when money is involved, they will even be the one to ask Mummy can I clean the table or fold my clothes.
