My child year 7 experience

Going to secondary school is something that can be scary for every child who left primary school, in case of my son, he was very anxious when he was going to high school. He missed out on his preferred school as he failed to meet the required score which was very sad.

Because of this, I had to look for an alternative school a place for him, along the line I made a mistake by accidentally selecting a school that I thought was a better choice only for me to discover that it was the wrong choice.

I put his name down on a waiting list for his preferred choice, but it’s going to be a long way as other people are also on the waiting list as well, but fortunately, his position on the waiting list has moved forward. I am hoping that by next year he will be in his preferred school, which is also close to where we live and more convenient because I have to drop and pick his baby brother too.

His present school is not that bad, but some of the kids are out of line and they are difficult to control. I thank God my child is doing well at his school which is good, but we are still hoping for him to get into his preferred school soon.
